Welcome to the Bay City Rodders Website

The Bay City Rodders Car Club is a small car club (under 50 members) located in Southern California. With a home base of Seal Beach, most of the members live in Long Beach, Lakewood, Seal Beach and the surrounding area.

Previously the club has staged two annual shows; the Bay City at the Beach in May and the Belmont Shore Show in September. Now we are only producing the Belmont Shore Show. It was determined that the amount of voluntary effort required to produce two shows was taxing the capabilities of the membership and the decision was made to concentrate on the larger of the two shows.

This year's Belmont Shore Show will be held on September 7th, 2008, and is on 2nd Street of the Belmont Shore section of Long Beach. About ten blocks of 2nd Street is blocked off and filled with street rods and street machines. This show typically pulls about 800 entries and also has a huge spectator attendance. The Bay City Rodders are looking for new members!

Come to one of our club meetings and get to know us. We are looking for potential members who have a 1967 or older rod or custom. Dues are $60 per year and prior to being voted in as a club member, potential members are required to attend three meetings and two designated club shows or events. The club chooses one event for each month that is considered that month's club event. Couples are welcome. We are a social club but also stage the Belmont Shore Car Show in early September each year.
